About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Project Manager (MEP) to lead and manage end-to-end execution of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) projects across India. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, client coordination, commercial management, quality assurance, and successful delivery of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Utility projects within defined timelines and budgets.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, project management expertise, billing and contractual understanding, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution

- Lead the execution of MEP projects from project initiation to final handover.
- Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies.
- Ensure timely mobilization of manpower, materials, machinery, and tools.
- Monitor project progress against approved timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate with site teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Ensure project delivery within approved budgets and quality standards.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and monitor site productivity.

1. Design & Engineering Coordination

- Review and coordinate MEP drawings, shop drawings, and construction drawings.
- Prepare and submit technical submittals and Technical Data Sheets (TDS) for approvals.
- Coordinate with consultants and clients for drawing approvals and design clarifications.
- Ensure implementation of approved drawings and specifications at site.
- Provide technical guidance to project engineers and execution teams.

1. Material Planning & Procurement Coordination

- Prepare material requirement schedules based on project execution plans.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for material sourcing and timely deliveries.




- Review technical specifications of materials and equipment before procurement.
- Track material consumption and ensure optimum utilization.
- Prevent project delays through proactive procurement planning.

1. Billing & Commercial Management

- Prepare, review, and submit Running Account (RA) Bills to clients.
- Verify subcontractor and vendor bills before processing.
- Manage billing for Non-Scheduled (NS) items with proper rate analysis.
- Prepare and negotiate variation orders and change requests.
- Follow up on client certifications, COPs, and payment collections.
- Monitor project cash flow and commercial performance.

1. Vendor & Subcontractor Management

- Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, and quality compliance.
- Ensure timely execution of work packages as per project schedules.
- Resolve commercial and technical issues related to subcontractors.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.

1. Quality Assurance & Safety Management

- Ensure compliance with project quality standards and client specifications.
- Implement Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures.
- Conduct periodic inspections and audits to maintain quality benchmarks.
- Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations.
- Promote a safe working culture across project sites.
- Investigate and address quality or safety concerns promptly.

1. Project Monitoring & Reporting

- Track project progress and identify potential risks and bottlenecks.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and management progress reports.
- Monitor productivity, cost performance, and resource utilization.
- Maintain project records, documentation, and correspondence.
- Present project status updates to senior management and clients.

1. Testing,



Commissioning & Handover

- Lead testing and commissioning activities of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Utility systems.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities during inspections.
- Ensure successful completion of punch points and snag lists.
- Manage project closeout activities and documentation.
- Ensure smooth handover of systems and final project completion.

1. Client & Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants.
- Build and maintain strong qualified relationships with stakeholders.
- Address client concerns and provide timely solutions.
- Attend project review meetings and progress discussions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Utility Systems.
- Expertise in MEP project execution and coordination.
- Knowledge of testing, commissioning, and handover procedures.
- Understanding of BOQ, rate analysis, billing, and variation management.
- Familiarity with quality standards, codes, and safety regulations.
