City Imaging and Clinical Labs is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager – Clinical Trials to lead projects within our growing Central Laboratory division.

City Imaging and Clinical Labs is an integrated diagnostic and clinical research organization with expertise across Radiology, Pathology, Central Laboratory Services and Core Imaging for Clinical Trials.

We work with pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology organizations, CROs, investigators and clinical research sites, supporting regulated and multicentric studies across India. Our focus is on quality, scientific accuracy, timely delivery, regulatory compliance and dependable client service.

This position offers an opportunity to join a growing organization, work on high-impact clinical research projects and play a key role in strengthening and expanding our Central Laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage central laboratory projects from study initiation to close-out.
- Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors, CROs, investigators, clinical sites and internal teams.
- Coordinate protocol review, study setup, laboratory manuals, sample requirements and study-specific workflows.
- Oversee sample logistics, accessioning, testing, data delivery, query management and turnaround times.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, trackers, risk registers and study status reports.




- Coordinate with Laboratory Operations, Quality Assurance, Logistics, IT, Data Management and Business Development teams.
- Ensure compliance with study protocols, SOPs, GCP/GCLP principles and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Manage deviations, change controls, CAPAs, protocol amendments and study-specific documentation.
- Support sponsor qualification visits, audits and regulatory inspections.
- Conduct project review meetings and proactively identify and resolve operational risks.

Qualification

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Clinical Research or a related discipline.
- Additional certification or qualification in Clinical Research or Project Management will be an advantage.
- Experience
- 6–12 years of relevant experience in clinical trials, central laboratory services, CROs, pharmaceutical research or clinical research operations.
- At least 3–5 years of project management or client-facing study management experience.
- Proven experience in handling regulated, sponsor-driven and multicentric clinical trials.
- Candidates with prior experience in a Central Laboratory, CRO,



Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology organization will be preferred.
- Desired Skills
- Strong understanding of central laboratory workflows and clinical trial documentation.
- Knowledge of GCP, GCLP, SOPs, deviations, CAPA, audits and quality systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple complex projects.
- Robust problem-solving, planning and decision-making abilities.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, project trackers and LIMS or clinical trial management systems.
- Experience in vaccine, oncology, bioanalytical, PK/PD or multinational studies will be an added advantage.
