Senior Manager – Legal, Financial Services

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior legal qualified with experience in the banking, NBFC, fintech or financial-services sector. The role will be held in a new wholly owned subsidiary of Delhivery Limited, Delhivery Financial Services Private Limited (“DFS”).

The role will support business on NBFC-related activities, financial distribution and allied services, including insurance distribution, telematics, FASTag-related services and fuel cards.

Key Responsibilities

- Advise on laws and regulations applicable to NBFCs, lending, digital lending, financial distribution, insurance distribution and allied financial services.
- Draft, vet and negotiate lending, partnership, referral, LSP, outsourcing, technology, vendor and intercompany agreements.
- Review customer journeys, product terms, disclosures, consent language and grievance mechanisms.
- Support the NBFC licensing and implementation process, including policies, governance and regulatory documentation.
- Advise on data protection, data sharing, access controls and information barriers between DFS and other subsidiaries and parent entity.




- Support product, business, compliance, risk, credit, operations and technology teams on day-to-day legal matters.
- Manage legal notices, disputes, recovery matters and external counsel, where required.
- Track regulatory developments and support implementation of necessary changes.
- Should be comfortable in managing a team.

Candidate Profile

- LL.B. from a recognised university.
- 8-10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Experience with a bank, NBFC, fintech, financial-services company or a law firm in banking and finance practice.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of lending, fintech, outsourcing, data protection and financial services regulations.
- Ability to independently manage matters and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in digital lending, NBFC operations, insurance distribution or fintech partnerships.
- Familiarity with RBI regulations, KYC requirements, outsourcing arrangements and customer-protection frameworks.
- Experience working with cross-functional business, product, compliance and technology teams.
