Finance and Operations are a critical support function for Janaagraha. Finance is responsible for managing day to day accounting, financial and statutory compliance, donor financial reporting, and budgeting for the entire organisation. While operations ensure Janaagraha delivers on its mission by providing expertise and support in the areas of IT and network support, facilities management, travel and logistics arrangement alongside event planning and execution.

We are looking for a competent skilled to join the team as Senior Manager Finance and Operations to lead finance and operations and provide overarching support to the Director Finance. This role is based out of Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

- Supporting Director Finance in managing the overall finance function.
- Oversight of routine finance operations.
- Supporting in review and monitoring administrative and IT-related operational matters including cost, service levels, risk and compliance across both.
- Reviewing and strengthening finance processes and controls.
- Supporting internal reviews, audits, and compliance closures.
- Coordinating with internal teams, outsourced service providers, and management, as required.
- Mentoring and coaching the team in successful accomplishment of these goals





Qualifications and Experience

- Chartered Accountant or Master s Degree in Financial and Business Management or Masters in Bachelor of Commerce or an equivalent degree
- About 10+ years of relevant experience in Financial Management, Audit and Compliance. Knowledge of facilities management and administration activities will be a plus.
- Experience of working in a non-profit environment will be a plus
- Should have managed teams.
