Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced technology leader to lead our Data Digital Asset Governance Technology team. This team is responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving enterprise governance capabilities using the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform and full stack development to enable trusted, compliant, and discoverable data, digital assets, AI assets, and business records across Macquarie Asset Management. he successful candidate will own the technology strategy, architecture, delivery roadmap, and operational management of governance platforms and services. They will lead a team of engineers, partnering closely with business stakeholders, data governance functions, architecture teams, risk and compliance teams, and platform engineering teams to deliver a modern governance ecosystem.

This role combines technology leadership, people management, solution architecture, and software development.

Responsibilities

- Lead the technology strategy and roadmap for data, AI, and digital asset governance platforms, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory objectives.

- Manage and develop a high-performing governance technology team while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Drive the design and delivery of governance workflows, metadata solutions, and governance operating models using Collibra and custom-built applications.

- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards, while providing technical leadership on complex initiatives and integrations.

- Partner closely with business, risk, governance,



and technology stakeholders to translate governance requirements into effective technology solutions and successful delivery plans.

Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, software engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise data management.

- Proven experience leading technology teams and delivering large-scale enterprise platforms and solutions.

- Strong expertise in enterprise data governance and metadata management, with hands-on experience in platforms such as Collibra.

- Experience leveraging AI-assisted coding and up-to-date engineering practices to build and deliver full-stack applications.

- Demonstrated knowledge of governance capabilities, including business glossaries, metadata catalogues, data lineage, stewardship, governance workflows, and data quality management.

- Experience operating in regulated environments, with a strong understanding of risk, compliance, and governance requirements.

- Track record of leading complex cross-functional programs, partnering effectively with business, risk, governance, and technology stakeholders.

- Technical proficiency in Python, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Agile delivery methodologies.

- Familiarity with modern data governance concepts and tools, including AI governance, data products, data mesh, DCAM/DAMA/CDMC frameworks, and technologies such as Power BI, Informatica, dbt, and Dataplex.
