Job Summary

Ecure Healthcare Mall is looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Lab Technician to join our diagnostic laboratory team at Shivpur, Varanasi.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in operating Automatic Hematology Analyzers, Biochemistry Analyzers, and Immunoassay/Assay Machines, along with valuable knowledge of sample processing, quality control, troubleshooting, and laboratory operations.

State Medical Council Registration is mandatory for this position.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable test results while maintaining laboratory quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform and supervise routine laboratory investigations with accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate and handle automated hematology analyzers and perform CBC and related investigations.
- Operate automated biochemistry analyzers for routine biochemical investigations.
- Handle immunoassay/assay analyzers and perform routine assay-based investigations.
- Perform sample collection, identification, processing, separation, and storage as per SOPs.
- Ensure proper functioning, daily maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of laboratory analyzers.
- Perform and document Internal Quality Control (IQC) and ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards.
- Monitor reagents, calibrators, controls, and consumables and maintain adequate stock.
- Identify and troubleshoot common technical issues related to analyzers and escalate major issues when required.
- Verify test results and identify abnormal, inconsistent,



or technically questionable results before reporting.
- Maintain proper laboratory registers, records, QC documentation, equipment logs, and other required records.
- Follow laboratory SOPs, infection-control procedures, biomedical waste management, and safety protocols.
- Ensure proper sample handling and minimize sample rejection, contamination, and pre-analytical errors.
- Coordinate with Pathologists, doctors, phlebotomists, and other healthcare staff.
- Guide and supervise junior laboratory technicians and support staff.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of the laboratory.
- Assist with analyzer calibration, preventive maintenance, servicing, and validation activities.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow professional and ethical standards.
- Support laboratory audits, inspections, and quality-improvement activities.

Required Qualifications & Eligibility

- BMLT / DMLT or equivalent qualification.
- Valid State Medical Council Registration – MANDATORY.
- Registration certificate must be valid and verifiable.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a diagnostic laboratory or hospital laboratory.
- Strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience with automated laboratory analyzers.
