Role Description As a Senior Java Software Engineer at PInterview, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that power our online interview platform. You will work with Java and the Spring Framework to build and enhance microservices, APIs, and integrations that ensure a secure, reliable, and high-performing user experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and testable code, reviewing code from teammates, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver recent features. You will also contribute to architectural decisions, performance optimization,



and continuous improvement of development practices and tooling. This is a full-time remote role.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Java and general Programming skills, with experience in object-oriented design and best practices.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development for distributed systems, including designing, implementing, and maintaining production-grade applications.
- Deep knowledge of the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security) for building robust backend services.
- Experience designing and implementing Microservices architectures, including RESTful APIs and inter-service communication.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, caching, and messaging systems.
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Background in edtech or building real-time communication platforms is beneficial but not required.
