Role Description The Senior Human Resources Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Trivandrum, responsible for overseeing end-to-end HR operations and people strategy. This role manages recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning, ensuring that staffing aligns with project requirements and organizational growth.
The Senior Human Resources
Manager develops and implements HR policies, performance management frameworks, and employee engagement initiatives while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company standards. Daily responsibilities include advising leadership on HR matters, handling employee relations and conflict resolution, overseeing compensation and benefits administration,
and supporting learning and development programs. The role also involves maintaining HR metrics and reporting, driving process improvements, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Experience in core HR domains such as talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Proficiency in HR policy development, HR compliance, and compensation and benefits administration.
- Strong skills in leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration within a project-driven environment.
- Ability to design and implement training, employee engagement, and organizational development initiatives.
- Solid knowledge of relevant labor laws and HR best practices in India; prior exposure to multinational or GCC-based organizations is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and counseling abilities.
- Comfort with HRIS and basic data analysis for HR reporting and decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is preferred.
- Several years of progressively responsible HR experience, including prior managerial responsibility, ideally in construction, engineering, or related industries.
