About the role -
We are seeking a strategic Senior HRBP to be a trusted business partner to our leadership team - shaping how we build, develop, and retain talent as we scale rapidly. You will move fluidly between strategic workforce planning and hands-on people problem-solving, influencing organization design, performance culture, and talent decisions that directly impact business outcomes. This is a high-visibility role in a fast-moving environment where impact compounds quickly.
This role reports directly to the Head of HR and partners closely with executive leadership across Product, Tech, Sales and Operations. You will be the architect of our talent strategy and a trusted advisor on critical people decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to translate strategy into workforce plans i.e driving organizational structure, headcount, and capability requirements aligned to our business goals
- Champion engagement initiatives, values alignment and a high-performance culture that scales with the organization
- Execute the full performance cycle: goal setting, consistent reviews, calibration sessions, and feedback. Own the rigor and consistency of evaluations across teams
- Lead engagement initiatives and act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, conflict resolution, and sensitive people issues
- Use people data/metrics to diagnose issues and translate data into actionable interventions
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards; manage HR audits and regulatory reviews where needed
- Partner with cross functional teams to close capability and structural gaps
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years in HR, with 3+ years as an HRBP in a startup/fintech/high-growth workplace
- Strong business acumen - comfortable in ambiguity
- Hands-on experience with performance management, org design, and employee relations
- Data-driven approach to HR decision-making (comfortable with HRMS, dashboards, analytics)
- Excellent stakeholder management
- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent
