- Full-time, fully remote (India-based)
- Requires to work in Toronto time zone 9.30 am to 6.30 PM EST
- Compensation: 7 Lacs to 9 Lacs Per annum

About the role We're hiring one engineer to own our internal platform end to end

. This is not a feature-factory job on a big team — you'll be the primary engineer responsible for a real production system used across the company every day. You'll fix what's broken, harden what's fragile, ship enhancements, and design and build entirely new modules as the business evolves.

This role is ideal for someone who has built or owned internal business systems

— CRMs, case management platforms, workflow automation, operations tooling, Wesbite— and enjoys turning messy real-world business processes into clean, working software.

What you'll do

- Own the full lifecycle of our internal platform: bug fixes, performance, enhancements, and recent module development
- Work directly with the founder to transform business requirements into functional systems — from a conversation about a process pain-point to a shipped, tested feature
- Build and refine workflow and case-management functionality : multi-stage processes, status pipelines, role-based views, document handling, audit trails
- Design database schemas and migrations for new capabilities (PostgreSQL + Drizzle ORM)
- Build clean, consistent UI on established patterns (React + Ant Design)
- Maintain and extend a mobile PWA experience for on-the-go staff
- Keep quality high: TypeScript strict, unit tests (Vitest),



E2E tests (Playwright), zero-regression discipline
- Continuously improve the platform's architecture, tooling, and reliability

Our stack

- Next.js (App Router) + React + TypeScript
- Ant Design 5
- PostgreSQL + Drizzle ORM
- Vitest + Playwright, pnpm
- AI-assisted development workflow (we work with tools like Claude Code — you should be comfortable using AI tools and critically reviewing their output)

Must-haves

- 4+ years of professional full-stack experience, with at least 2 years in React + TypeScript
- Hands-on experience building internal business systems — CRM, case management, ERP, workflow tools, back-office platforms, or similar operational software
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into working functionality with minimal specs — you ask the right questions, propose the solution, and ship it
- Strong PostgreSQL skills: schema design, migrations, query optimization — not just ORM usage
- Experience owning a production system end to end (you've been "the person" responsible for something real, not just closing tickets)
- Solid testing habits and the discipline to keep a large codebase healthy
- Clear written English — you'll work async with a founder in North America
- Self-directed: comfortable being the only engineer on the system

Nice-to-haves

- Next.js App Router experience specifically (Server Components, route handlers)
- Drizzle ORM or similar typed query builders
- Billing, payments-ledger, or accounting-module experience
- PWA / mobile-web experience
- Exposure to immigration, legal-tech, recruitment, HR-tech, or other case-driven domains
