Dino Ventures is Looking for:**** We're looking for a backend-heavy full-stack engineer who architects and ships features across 10+ live Bharat-focused consumer apps — from Postgres/Redis/OpenSearch on the backend to the SvelteKit frontend — with real ownership over modules. You'll be the 4th or 5th hire on a core engineering team reporting directly to the CTO in a bootstrapped, high-ownership, early-stage environment.

Role Overview

- Architect and ship features end-to-end across multiple live consumer apps
- Own modules independently from backend (Node.js/Python/Go + Postgres/Redis/OpenSearch) to frontend (SvelteKit / any JS framework)
- Work in a small, fast-moving team with no layers — direct ownership from Day 1
- Collaborate closely with the CTO and founding team
- Potential to grow into a Tech Lead role

Must-Have Requirements

- Solid backend engineering depth in any language (Node.js, Python, Java, Go, etc.)
- SQL-based relational database experience — PostgreSQL strongly preferred; query optimisation and indexing depth required
- Production experience with Redis or a comparable caching/queue tool (BullMQ, Memcached, Celery, Sidekiq, RabbitMQ, Kafka) — must be able to explain why the tool was chosen
- Ability to reason through technical trade-offs on every key tool listed on CV (e.g. Redis vs. Memcached, Postgres vs. NoSQL, BullMQ vs. Celery)
- Working frontend competency in any JavaScript/TypeScript framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)
- Product company background only — service-based backgrounds (TCS, Infosys, Wipro,



etc.) will not be considered
- Has owned a module or feature end-to-end in production with measurable impact — must be able to speak to outcomes with data (e.g. reduced latency by X%, scaled from Y to Z users)

Good to Have

- OpenSearch / Elasticsearch experience
- SvelteKit experience
- DevOps / CI-CD pipeline exposure (any tool)
- Background in gaming or new-age fintech product startups (e.g. OneCard, Slice, CRED-tier)
- Founding engineer or very early employee experience (sub-20-person team)
- Background at a high-growth startup (e.g. Razorpay, Zomato, PhonePe, CRED)
- AI-assisted development tool usage (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc.)
- TypeScript proficiency

Interview Process

- Round 1: Online technical screen — project/ownership discussion + open-ended system design, no live coding (Adarsh/Bhaskar)
- Rounds 2 & 3: In-person in Bangalore (same day, 2–3 hours) — technical deep-dive + CEO round (Lokendra)
- Round 4: CMO round (Vidushi)
