Role & responsibilities

Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad

Primary Responsibilities

- Work with other Observability Engineers to design and implement and maintain scalable, reliable, performant, and efficient observability systems.

- Help the team to continuously improve our operating processes.

- Nurture engineer growth through mentorship

- Promote observability best-practices to ensure platform resiliency, performance and cost-optimization.

- Design and implement observability solutions based on the goals and requirements set forth by leadership, SLI and SLO.

Required Experience

- At least 6 years of skilled experience in systems engineering

- At least 4 years of experience programming in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or Python

- At least 4 years of experience delivering application performance monitoring visualizations with New Relic.

- At least 4 years of experience designing and building application performance monitoring solutions.

- At least 4 years of experience instrumenting application for telemetry data.





- At least 4 years of experience delivering cloud native software.

- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience

Additional Skills

- Deep domain expertise delivering cloud native solutions.

- Experience in –

- Observability best practices

- Application Performance Monitoring

- Microservice Architectures

- Observability as Code

- Deep understanding of SRE concepts, such as Service Level Indicators and Service Level Objectives

- DevOps

- Some experience in –

- Application Testing

- SecOps

- AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)

- AWS Management, Security, Scalability, Reliability, Cost Optimization

Education and Certifications

- AWS Certified DevOps - Professional

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate

- Multiple Observability Platforms

- Hands on experience with Opentelemetry.

- JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and React experience.
