Key Responsibilities

Project Execution &

- Monitoring

- Execute and supervise all external plumbing works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

- Monitor installation of underground water supply pipelines, sewer lines, storm water drainage systems, manholes, inspection chambers, and utility networks.

- Coordinate execution of external infrastructure works with civil, roads, landscaping, electrical, and MEP teams.

- Ensure timely completion of external plumbing activities in line with project milestones.

Technical Coordination

- Review plumbing layouts, shop drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.

- Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders for design clarifications and site execution requirements.

- Resolve site-level technical issues related to utilities and plumbing infrastructure.

- Ensure proper integration of external plumbing systems with STP, WTP, UG sump, OHT, and pumping systems.

Quality Assurance &

- Compliance

- Ensure all plumbing installations comply with approved standards, local authority regulations, and project quality requirements.

- Conduct inspections and testing of pipelines, chambers, valves, pumps, and utility systems.

- Monitor hydrostatic testing, pressure testing, leak detection, and commissioning activities.

- Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and test reports.

Contractor Management

- Supervise plumbing contractors and subcontractors.





- Track contractor productivity, material utilization, and work progress.

- Verify contractor measurements and certify executed quantities.

- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and project timelines.

Material Management

- Review material requirements and coordinate procurement schedules.

- Inspect incoming plumbing materials for quality and specification compliance.

- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.

Safety &

- Workplace

- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and EHS guidelines.

- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions for workforce.

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with excavation, utility laying, and testing activities.

Documentation &

- Reporting

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

- Maintain records of drawings, inspections, testing, and approvals.

- Support preparation of project handover documentation and as-built drawings.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Engineering with relevant experience.

- Additional certifications in Plumbing, MEP, or Utility Infrastructure will be an advantage.

Experience

- 6 to 9 years of experience in external plumbing and utility infrastructure works.

- Mandatory experience in residential high-rise, township, villa, commercial, or mixed-use building projects.

- Experience with reputed real estate developers or construction companies is preferred.
