Role Description The Senior Endpoint Security [DLP and EDR] professional will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing endpoint security controls across the organization, with a primary focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring security events, investigating incidents, tuning policies and rules, performing root-cause analysis, and coordinating remediation activities with cross-functional teams.

The role involves collaborating with network, infrastructure, and application teams to enhance security posture, create and maintain documentation, support audits, and contribute to security awareness initiatives. This is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai, working closely with global stakeholders to maintain robust endpoint security and compliance.

Monitor and investigate DLP and EDR security incidents. Configure,



manage, and optimize DLP policies. Handle endpoint malware, ransomware, and threat investigations. Perform IOC/IOA analysis and root cause analysis.

Troubleshoot DLP and EDR agent issues. Manage policy tuning and reduce false positives. Coordinate with customers and internal teams for incident resolution. Prepare incident reports, RCA, and documentation.

Ensure SLA compliance and timely ticket closure. Escalate complex issues to OEM support when required.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in DLP and EDR tools and endpoint protection platforms.
- Knowledge of Network Security and Information Security principles, including threat detection, incident response, and security best practices.
- Understanding of Physical Security considerations as they relate to endpoint and data protection in enterprise environments.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, prepare reports, and conduct security awareness sessions.
- Experience in configuring, tuning, and maintaining enterprise-grade DLP and EDR solutions; familiarity with SIEM platforms is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, GIAC) are preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior security role, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Awareness of regulatory and compliance frameworks (such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or other data protection standards) and their impact on endpoint security.
