Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Django.

Build secure, reliable, and well-documented APIs for internal and external applications.

Design systems that support high performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

Integrate with third-party platforms, business systems, payment providers, communication services, and other external APIs.

Develop backend services for real-time and data-driven applications.

Optimize application performance, database interactions, and overall system reliability.

Build reusable, modular, and maintainable backend components.

Collaborate closely with Front-End Engineers, Product Designers, DevOps, and Product teams.

Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.

Write clean, well-tested, production-quality code following engineering best practices.

What We're Looking For





5+ years of professional backend development experience.

Strong expertise in Python and Django.

Experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications.

Strong understanding of RESTful API design and backend architecture.

Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services.

Good understanding of relational databases and data modelling.

Experience designing scalable and maintainable backend systems.

Strong knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, and backend best practices.

Experience working with Git and team-oriented development workflows.

Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize system performance.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
