About the Job Job Title: Senior DevSecOps Engineer Job Location: Remote Responsibilities: Experience: Candidate with a minimum of 5+ year working in a DevOps or cloudrelated position.

AWS Expertise: Proficiency in working with various AWS services such as EC2, S3,CloudFront, Route53, ElastiCache, RDS, Lambda, and IAM is essential. Candidates with associate level certifications like AWS Certified Developer (Associate)



or AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate) will be given preference. Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Experience in working with the infrastructure-as-code tool Terraform to create production-grade infrastructure.

CI/CD Tools: Knowledge of popular continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions or BitBucket Pipelines.

Containerization and Orchestration: Must have a deep understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS for medium to large-scale implementation.

Monitoring and Scaling: Implementing monitoring solutions and responding to incidentspromptly. Optimising resources for scalability and performance.

Security: Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as static code analysis, vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM solutions.

Technical Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Robust experience in designing, setting up, and configuring secure infrastructure on AWS, with a focus on ECS and EKS environments. Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform, for provisioning and managing secure cloud resources.





Deep understanding of containerization technologies and orchestration frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes, with a focus on security best practices.

Experience in implementing security measures throughout the CI/CD pipeline, including code scanning, vulnerability assessments, and secure deployment methodologies. Knowledge of security tools and technologies, such as IDS/IPS, WAF, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and security monitoring solutions. Familiarity with compliance standards relevant to service-based companies, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR, and implementing security controls to meet these requirements.

Strong scripting and automation skills using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Experience with security testing methodologies, such as penetration testing and vulnerability management for client projects. Ability to lead and mentor junior DevSecOps team members, allocating work effectively and providing guidance when needed. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple client projects simultaneously.
