Job Description – Data Engineer (Analytics Team)

Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Data Engineer to join our Analytics team. The ideal candidate should have strong programming and analytical skills with hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimising data pipelines. You will be responsible for developing scalable ETL workflows, transforming raw data into analytics-ready datasets, and ensuring high data quality and reliability.

Requirements:

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
Preferred institutions: IITs, NITs, IIITs, DTU, NSUT, BITS Pilani, or other Tier-1 colleges.

Experience
0–2 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Exceptional fresh graduates with strong internships or personal projects are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills
Advanced SQL with strong knowledge of joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimisation, and data modeling.




Strong hands-on Python programming skills for building ETL pipelines, data transformation, automation, and workflow orchestration.
Experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and optimising data pipelines.
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data ingestion, transformation, and scheduling.
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, and automation.
Familiarity with relational databases, data warehouses, and cloud data platforms is a plus.
Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, n8n) is an added advantage.
