Role Summary

The Manager – Business Development will be responsible for originating, developing, and closing debt financing opportunities across corporates, SMEs, and emerging businesses. The role requires a strong front-end origination capability, deep market relationships, and the ability to identify and structure funding solutions through debt syndication, structured credit, private credit funds, and Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of corporate finance and debt products, coupled with a proven track record in client acquisition, relationship management, and transaction closure.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Deal Origination

Identify, approach, and acquire new corporate, SME, and promoter-led clients seeking debt financing solutions.
Generate proprietary deal flow through direct sourcing and relationship-driven origination.




Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of debt syndication, structured finance, refinancing, and growth capital opportunities.
Conduct client meetings to understand funding requirements and assess transaction viability.
Present customized financing solutions aligned with client objectives and investor/lender mandates.
Drive the entire business development cycle from lead generation to mandate acquisition and deal closure.

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain relationships with promoters, founders, CFOs, treasury heads, and key decision-makers.
Develop strategic partnerships with Chartered Accountants, consultants, investment bankers, wealth managers, brokers, and referral partners.
Establish long-term client relationships to generate repeat mandates and cross-selling opportunities.
Serve as a trusted advisor on capital structure optimization and financing strategies.
