Job Objective: To provide strategic and operational leadership to Nursing Services by ensuring delivery of safe, evidence-based and patient-centric nursing care while driving clinical excellence, quality outcomes, patient experience, workforce capability and operational efficiency across the hospital.

Nursing Superintendents, Assistant Nursing Superintendents
Nursing Supervisors
Nursing Officers
Infection Control Nurses
Nursing Education & Training
Clinical Nursing Quality
Nursing Administration
Nursing Rostering & Workforce Planning

Job Responsibilities:
Provide overall leadership and direction to Nursing Services across the hospital.
Ensure delivery of safe, compassionate and evidence-based nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and clinical protocols.
Drive compliance with NABH, JCI and all statutory regulatory requirements.
Monitor nursing-sensitive quality indicators including medication errors, falls,



pressure injuries, hospital acquired infections and patient safety events.
Ensure implementation of patient safety initiatives, infection prevention practices and clinical governance standards.
Develop and implement nursing policies, SOPs, protocols and clinical guidelines.
Ensure optimum nursing manpower planning, deployment and productivity across all departments.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, retention and succession planning for nursing workforce.
Drive nursing competency assessment, mandatory certifications and continuous career development.
Ensure timely completion of BLS, ACLS, Fire Safety, Infection Control, Biomedical Waste Management and other mandatory training programmes.
Review patient feedback and nursing service quality and implement improvement initiatives.
Ensure accurate and timely nursing documentation in Hospital Information System (HIS)/Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
