About Luxus India: Luxus India is a premium, tech-enabled home interiors brand dedicated to transforming everyday living spaces into beautifully personalized, highly functional homes. Powered by our state-of-the-art 4-acre automated manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, we bridge the gap between bespoke aesthetics and flawless, factory-finished precision.
We operate a dynamic, customer-first model where creative design, transparent timelines, and an entirely seamless homeowner experience form the core of everything we do.
Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Business Head, the Studio Design Manager is the operational and commercial backbone of our design team. You will ensure our design studio operates as a high-throughput, revenue-generating engine.
In this management role, you will oversee a cohort of Interior Design Consultants, ensuring their pipelines are bottleneck-free. You will work in lockstep with the Sales Team (BDMs) to seamlessly transition clients from initial presentations to final design sign-offs. Furthermore, you will hold direct accountability for the financial milestones associated with the design phase, driving the studio’s overall commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
● Sales Synergy & Revenue Generation: Work hand-in-hand with the Business Development Managers (BDMs) to convert leads into booked projects. Step into high-stakes client pitches to build design conviction, overcome technical objections, and drive top-line revenue.
● Pipeline & Manpower Management: Actively manage the studio’s bandwidth. Intelligently distribute workload and time among your designers, balancing the urgency of new client presentations (pitch phase)
with the technical demands of existing signed-up projects (execution phase).
● Commercial Ownership: Take direct responsibility for driving and securing the 2nd payment milestone from clients immediately following the final design freeze and sign-off.
● SOP Creation & Process Engineering: Author, implement, and dynamically update Design Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to adapt to changing business requirements, product launches, and operational scaling.
● Bottleneck Eradication: Proactively identify and eliminate friction points in the customer journey, ensuring a seamless flow from the first floor-plan discussion to the final factory handover.
Profile Requirements:
● Experience: 5 to 8 years of robust experience in residential interior design, with a proven track record of managing design teams, pipelines, and revenue targets in a high-volume modular interior or architectural firm.
● Leadership & Operations DNA: You possess a process-oriented mindset. You know how to untangle complex workflows and deploy manpower efficiently.
● Commercial Acumen: You view design as a critical business function. You are highly comfortable discussing budgets, negotiating timelines, and asking clients for payment milestones.
● Technical Authority: Exceptional command over space-planning software (AutoCAD, SketchUp) and a deep understanding of modular manufacturing tolerances.
● Executive Communication: Exceptional verbal articulation in English; fluency in Telugu or Hindi is highly critical for local market leadership.
What We Offer:
● A high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the Business Head.
● Complete autonomy to shape the studio’s culture and operational SOPs.
● A highly lucrative compensation package featuring a fixed salary and aggressive performance-linked incentives tied directly to your team's throughput and milestone collections.
