Role & responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Design team.

- Design and develop New Products, Including components, assemblies, enclosures, cabinets, and fabrication structures using SolidWorks.

- Review and approve Machining Part Drawings , flat patterns, and BOMs.

- Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, and project teams for smooth execution.

- Ensure manufacturability of designs considering laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating, and assembly processes.

- Monitor design schedules and ensure timely project completion.

- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and draftsmen.

- Handle engineering changes, design improvements, and cost reduction activities.

- Participate in customer discussions and technical reviews when required.

- Maintain engineering standards,



documentation, and revision control.

- Support new product development and prototype activities.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.

Required Skills:

- Strong expertise in SolidWorks (Sheet Metal & Assembly Modules).

- Excellent knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes:

- Robust understanding of GD&T;, tolerances, and manufacturing standards.

- Leadership and team management capability.

- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
