Role Description The Senior Design Architect at SMARTANK will lead end-to-end architectural design for projects, from concept development to detailed construction documentation, ensuring alignment with client requirements and regulatory standards. This full time, on-site role based in Mumbai involves overseeing design management processes, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and guiding junior designers and consultants to maintain quality and consistency across deliverables.

The Senior Design

Architect will prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and presentations,



and participate in client meetings to communicate design intent and respond to feedback. The role includes monitoring project progress, resolving design challenges, and ensuring that timelines, budgets, and sustainability considerations are effectively managed.

Qualifications

- Strong architectural foundation with proven expertise in Architecture and Architectural Design.
- Demonstrated ability in Design Management, including leading design processes and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in developing and reviewing Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
- Excellent Communication skills for collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM tools).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
- Experience in managing complex projects in commercial, corporate, or mixed-use environments, ideally within an urban context such as Mumbai.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and design quality.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability best practices.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members and work effectively in an on-site, collaborative setting.
