Sr. Billing Engineer (Real Estate Developer)

Position Title: Sr. Billing Engineer

Department: Billing / Contracts / Projects

Location: Sec-1, Greater Noida West

Experience Required: 1015 Years (minimum 6 years in Real Estate Developer/Contractor Billing)

Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Billing & Certification

- Prepare and verify contractor, subcontractor, and vendor bills as per work executed at site.
- Certify RA (Running Account) bills, final bills, and client invoices.
- Verify measurements, BOQ quantities, and rate analysis for accuracy.
- Ensure billing is in line with agreement terms, drawings, and site execution.

2. Quantity & Cost Management

- Prepare Quantity Take-offs (QTO) and reconciliation of materials (cement, steel, etc.).
- Track project cost vs. budget and highlight variances.
- Assist in rate analysis, extra item billing, and escalation claims.

3. Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain proper documentation of MB (Measurement Books), bills, and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with GST, RERA, and other statutory requirements in client billing.
- Coordinate with Accounts/Finance for timely vendor/client payments.

4. Coordination & Communication

- Work closely with site engineers, project managers,



and procurement teams to validate quantities and progress.
- Liaise with clients/consultants for certification of bills and approval of extra claims.
- Resolve billing disputes through proper documentation and communication.

5. MIS & Reporting

- Prepare and submit MIS reports on billing status, work done, and cost control.
- Support management with data for cash flow planning, project billing forecasts, and financial decisions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering works, BOQ, and Measurement.
- Hands-on experience in contract billing, RA bills, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and Billing/ERP software.
- Knowledge of rate analysis, escalation, and claims management.
- Detail-oriented with solid analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to lead a billing team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Additional certification in Quantity Surveying / Contracts Management (preferred).
- 10 years of relevant experience in billing & contracts, preferably in real estate developer firms or contracting companies.
