Backend Engineer (Python/Django)

Join a quick-growing healthcare technology company developing a cloud-based, multi-tenant Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platform. The role focuses on building secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that power healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend applications using Python and Django .
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs with Django REST Framework .
- Design efficient PostgreSQL databases and improve query performance.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls.
- Develop background processing using Celery and Redis .
- Integrate third-party services and healthcare platforms.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps,



and product teams.
- Write unit tests, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills
- Python, Django, Django REST Framework
- REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Git, Docker
- JWT, OAuth2, RBAC, API security best practices
- Redis, Celery, CI/CD workflows
- AWS cloud services and performance optimization

Preferred Experience
- Multi-tenant SaaS application development with tenant isolation.
- Exposure to healthcare solutions such as EMR, EHR, HIS, LIMS, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with FastAPI, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, or HL7/FHIR standards is an added advantage.
