PURPOSE
This position is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations and strategic execution of the Fitness Department at the assigned location. The incumbent will manage all aspects of fitness offerings, team performance, member experience, and operational efficiency. The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders to align the department's objectives with the club’s broader vision of delivering luxury wellness experiences. The Fitness Manager is expected to build a motivated and service-oriented team while continuously enhancing fitness outcomes and member satisfaction.

KEY ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: General Manager – Club Operations
Positions Reporting to: Personal Trainers, Group Exercise Trainers, Physiotherapist, Reception staff.
Interacts with:
 External – Members / Guests, Vendors, Consultants, Service providers, Authorities
 Internal – Managers, Supervisors, Staff & Contractual staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Driving Operational Excellence
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the fitness facilities, ensuring adherence to SOPs, hygiene,



safety, and service quality standards.
• Implement new fitness projects and programs in coordination with the Ops Head, including rollout, training, and ongoing evaluation.
• Ensure optimal deployment of equipment and energy efficiency through structured maintenance and utilization plans.
• Embrace new technology and innovations in equipment and digital solutions to enhance operational productivity and user experience.
• Monitor department performance, utilities, and payroll costs to remain within budgetary guidelines while maintaining service excellence.

People Management
• Lead hiring, training, and performance development of the fitness team; conduct monthly fitness audits at each club location.
• Establish a adaptable and skilled workforce through multi-skilling, multi-tasking, and efficient shift planning.
