Position Summary
Precision for Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and scale enterprise business operations analytics across Project Management, Sample Management, Laboratory Operations, Data Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Executive Leadership teams.
This role will serve as a strategic analytics partner within Business Operations, responsible for transforming operational and financial data into actionable insights that drive performance, efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will work closely with Business Operations, Project Management, Sample Management, Finance, IT, and Data Engineering teams to develop enterprise dashboards, KPI frameworks, and standardized reporting solutions.
This position focuses on semantic modeling, KPI governance, business intelligence architecture, and operational analytics—not source system development or ad hoc report creation.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership & Requirements Gathering




Translate complex business processes into scalable analytical models and self-service reporting solutions.
Act as the subject matter expert for KPI definitions, business rules, calculations, and reporting governance.
Identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and process improvement opportunities through advanced analytics.
Power BI & Semantic Modeling
Design, build, and maintain Power BI semantic models, including DAX measures, KPIs, hierarchies, and table relationships
Build reusable, governed DAX measures aligned to approved KPI definitions
Implement calculation groups, time intelligence, and standardized metric logic
Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and refresh efficiency
Ensure all metrics reflect correct business logic, including enrollment rules, milestone definitions, revenue calculations, and project financial structures
Governance & Collaboration
Partner with Data Engineering to ensure analytics-ready data structures and consistent grain, v
