Position: Admission & Billing Executive

Role Summary:

Responsible for managing patient admissions, registrations, insurance verification, billing, payment collection, and maintaining accurate financial and patient records while ensuring a smooth patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Register patients and complete admission formalities.
- Verify patient identity, insurance details, and required documents.
- Prepare and process inpatient and outpatient bills.
- Collect payments and issue receipts.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and insurance providers.
- Handle billing queries and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate admission and billing records.
- Process patient discharge bills and complete final settlements.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
- Generate daily billing and collection reports.

Required Skills:





- Knowledge of hospital information systems (HIS) and billing software.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and insurance procedures.
- Valuable communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Healthcare Administration, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in hospital admission and billing is preferred.
