Job Summary

In business analysis at PwC, you will focus on analysing and interpreting data to provide strategic insights and recommendations for improving business performance. Your work will involve strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Product Analyst, Tax Technology Consultant, or similar role.

- Strong understanding of the Tax domain, including tax operations, compliance processes, reporting cycles, data requirements, and business workflows.

- Exposure to US Tax or tax business processes in large territories is strongly preferred.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business problems, operating models, stakeholder priorities, and commercial implications.

- Technically savvy, with the ability to work effectively with technology teams and understand system workflows, data flows, integrations, APIs, and automation concepts.

- Hands-on experience using AI tools in day-to-day work for research, documentation, analysis, presentations, summarization, ideation, process improvement, or automation.

- Strong familiarity with AI-first methodologies, including using AI to improve productivity, accelerate analysis, enhance decision-making, and identify smarter ways of working.

- Experience with project delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, and GitHub.





- Ability to write clear user stories, business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Excellent client management skills, with the ability to manage expectations, handle discussions professionally, and build trust with stakeholders.

- Robust presentation skills, with the ability to prepare polished, structured, and visually compelling decks rapidly.

- Ability to conduct structured conversations, workshops, interviews, and problem-solving discussions.

- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work in ambiguous environments.

- Demonstrated ability to work across business and technology teams in a fast-paced consulting or delivery environment.

Mandatory skill sets

- Prior experience in consulting, professional services, tax technology, financial services, or enterprise transformation programs.

Preferred skill sets

- Experience working with global clients, US stakeholders, or distributed delivery teams.
