Strategic Position Overview Posted: 3rd Aug 2026 Salary: As per Market standards We are hiring an engineer to build the vehicle-facing HMI and companion mobile application for an electric vehicle platform. The role covers Android-based in-vehicle software, real-time vehicle state visualization, connected vehicle features, and integration with backend and embedded systems. The engineer should be able to own the UI layer, application architecture, device integration, and release quality for both the cluster/HMI and the mobile app.

Responsibilities Develop and maintain the HMI application for the vehicle display.

Build the companion mobile application for connected vehicle features.

Implement real-time UI updates for vehicle status, alerts, navigation, and user interactions.

Integrate the application with vehicle controllers, middleware, and backend services.

Work with design, firmware, and backend teams to define screen flows and data inter

Optimize the application for performance, stability, and fast response on embedded hardware.

Debug and resolve issues across the HMI, mobile app, and integration layers.

Support testing, validation, and release readiness for production deployment.





Requirements Experience building mobile applications for Android and/or cross-platform frameworks.

Strong understanding of APIs and real-time data integration.

Strong experience in Android development.

Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.

Experience with embedded Android or automotive-style UI development.

Ability to build reliable, modular, and testable software.

Positive debugging and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work closely with hardware, firmware, and backend teams.

Familiarity with connected device applications is preferred.

Experience with performance optimization on resource-constrained devices is preferred.

Exposure to vehicle dashboards, telematics, or cluster software is preferred.

Knowledge of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular connectivity, or OTA update flows is preferred.

Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers and product teams.

Familiarity with connected device applications is preferred.

Familiarity with Figma and ability to implement UI from design specifications.
