Responsibilities
- Resolve Tier 1 queries and transactions related to core HR processes
- Maintaining data in Workday pertaining to employee life cycle activities related transactions
- Provide technical query resolution for ESS / MSS requests (Workday).
- Process employee leave and absence requests in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee leave records and documentation within HR systems (Workday).
- Review leave applications for completeness and follow up on missing information where required.
- Coordinate with HR, payroll, managers, and employees to ensure accurate processing of the leave-related queries.
- Respond to employee and manager queries related to leave balances, eligibility, and process guidelines. Monitor leave cases and ensure timely updates, approvals, and closures (Workday).
- Support administration of various leave types such as Long Leaves Maternity and Parental leave, vacation leave, unpaid leave, and other statutory or company-specific leave programs.
- Generate reports and dashboards related to leave trends, absenteeism, and process metrics.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, service level agreements, and applicable labor regulations.
- Assist in audits and data validation activities related to leave and absence management.
- Demonstrate good proficiency in HR processes and standard operating procedures
- Communicate and distribute processes, policies, and other relevant documentation to employees needed to resolve the query/issue
- Managing Coordinating queries on Case management tool
- Ability to identify and escalate complex queries to appropriate owner
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support employee experience and operational excellence.
Preferable experience for APAC Region.
Key Skills
- Should have knowledge of Leave and Absence process.
- Demonstrating good understanding of core HR management practices, processes, procedures, and policies
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in Workday HR environment preferred or similar HR ERP desirable
- Knowledge of Case Management tool an added advantage
- Knowledge on MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Bachelor/Master s degree in Human Resources or Personnel Management
- 3-4 years of experience in HR or client services role preferred
