Role Overview

The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end bid management process for steam turbine projects across the full turbine portfolio. The position involves preparing preliminary turbine calculations, developing Heat & Mass Balance diagrams, estimating costs, coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors, and leading techno-commercial discussions with customers and consultants.



The incumbent plays a key role in delivering competitive and technically compliant proposals while ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate inquiries, RFQs, and tenders; prepare budgetary and firm bids/proposals.
Initiate, coordinate, and obtain approvals for Technical Bid Approval Forms (TBAF) in collaboration with the Engineering team.
Manage end-to-end bid activities for the complete range of steam turbines from the Bengaluru office.
Perform preliminary steam turbine calculations and develop Heat & Mass Balance (HMB) diagrams.
Prepare bid cost estimates and support pricing strategies to ensure competitive and profitable proposals.
Engage with customers, consultants, and other stakeholders to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Procurement, Sales, and Project Management, to ensure timely and accurate bid submissions.
