The Opportunity: We are seeking highly skilled Core Firmware Developers to join our team and work on cutting-edge embedded systems.
This role requires deep expertise in Embedded-C programming, strong knowledge of low-level hardware interfaces, and the ability to design and optimize firmware for performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontrollers and SoCs. Implement and optimize low-level drivers for hardware interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, and timers.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to bring up recent boards and debug hardware/software integration issues.
Ensure robustness, efficiency, and scalability in firmware design.
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to maintain high-quality standards.
Document firmware architecture, design decisions, and technical specifications.
Explore and adopt Rust for safety-critical firmware modules where applicable.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in Firmware Development and Validation cum Debug.
Strong proficiency in Embedded-C programming with proven development experience. Solid understanding of low-level hardware development and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.).
3 to 5 years of experience with RTOS or bare-metal firmware development.
Hands-on experience with debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
Experience in validation strategies for new firmware features and debug.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git
