Role Summary

The Business Manager is the single point of accountability for converting opportunity into revenue - from sourcing and qualifying leads through to commercial negotiation, proposal closure, and handover to delivery. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role: the Business Manager will be responsible for pitch lifecycle, works in close daily coordination with the Brand Solution team on proposal quality, and is directly accountable to the Business Head and Founder on pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and target delivery. Beyond individual deals, the Business Manager owns three structural gaps in our current revenue process — win documentation, market intelligence capture, and event ROI measurement — making this as much a systems-builder role as a closer

role.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Generation & Qualification

Own lead sourcing across marketing, referrals, networking, partner channels, and LinkedIn outreach.
Manage lead registration, form submission, and credential-sharing with prospective clients.




Qualify inbound and sourced leads for commercial and strategic fit before they enter the forecast.
The role will require regular travel to client locations, primarily across Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru.

Forecast, Brief-in & Pitch Delivery

Drive the Forecast and Go/No-Go assessment for every prospect, working with the Business Head on feasibility and resourcing.
Translate client briefs into clear internal requirements during Internal Brief-in, setting timelines and aligning stakeholders.
Lead Client Presentations, representing HotCult's point of view with authority and cultural fluency.
Proposal preparation consulted with stakeholder, ensuring commercial soundness.

Commercial Negotiation & Closure

Commercial Negotiation in tandem with respective stakeholders, balancing client relationship with HotCult's margin and delivery capacity.
Drive Contract Review to closure and manage Advance Collection in coordination with Finance.
