Job Summary
Lynk is developing cellular-based space payloads and seeks a Wireless Engineer to design and implement air interfaces for Lynk’s satellite-direct-to-phone services.



This role involves developing DSP, optimizing the physical layer procedures, and implementing custom resource scheduling algorithms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wireless communications, signal processing, and RAN development to drive innovation in next-generation satellite-based mobile networks.

Core Responsibilities
As a Wireless Engineer, your core responsibilities are as follows
Design and implement physical - PHY and medium access control - MAC layer algorithms and procedures for satellite communication links.
Develop baseband modems on software defined radio - SDR platforms.
Evaluate the performance of algorithms in simulation and on the target platform.
Develop test software and drivers to support unit, integration, and system testing of all base station software functions.
Perform link budget analysis of LTE and 5G system between satellite and UEs.
