Key Responsibilities
Author, revise, and validate Structural Repair Publications using the XML authoring tool
Interpret and incorporate :
Engineering drawings and stress analysis data
Repair schemes
Develop and update content in accordance with Airbus standards, and S1000D (where applicable)
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of data modules / repair instructions
Perform self-checks and peer reviews to meet quality requirements
Interface with:
Stress, Design, and Engineering teams
Quality and Configuration Management teams
Customer technical focal points
Support audits, customer reviews, and change impact assessments
Manage revisions, effectivity, and traceability within the ASRP/CSDB environment
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with ASRP authoring
Robust knowledge of:
Aircraft structures (metallic & composite)
Repair methods, limits, and materials
Fasteners, sealants, corrosion protection
Ability to read and interpret:
Engineering drawings
Stress notes and repair dispositions
Familiarity with CSDB concepts and controlled authoring environments
Domain Knowledge
Aircraft structural repair principles and standard industry practices
Aircraft maintenance documentation lifecycle
Aerospace regulatory and OEM documentation requirements
