Primary Purpose
This role owns ERP responsibilities from pre-close due diligence through post close integration and stabilization. The M&A; ERP Systems Lead leads ERP integration outcomes by defining strategy, scope, timelines, and governance, and by overseeing execution performed by internal technical teams and external implementation partners. The role is accountable for decision making, risk management, and delivery of ERP integration objectives, rather than hands on system configuration or development.
Major Responsibilities
Pre Close Due Diligenc
eAssess target company ERP landscapes, including platforms, modules, customizations, integrations, and data structure
sEvaluate ERP support for core business processes (e.g., record to report, order to cash, procure to pay, supply chain
)Identify ERP related risks, constraints, and cost driver
sContribute to integration or separation strategy recommendations (e.g., single instance, two-tier, interim solutions
)Provide ERP input to deal timelines, synergy estimates, and Day 1 readiness plannin

gDefine ERP target state aligned with business and operating model decision
