Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with 23 years of experience in the US Staffing industry. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, payroll accounting, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, and compliance related to US staffing operations. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and have hands-on experience with accounting software and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for US staffing operations.
- Generate and process client invoices based on consultant timesheets and contracts.
- Reconcile consultant payroll with client billing.
- Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), vendor payments, and expense tracking.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with recruiters, account managers, and payroll teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.




- Maintain financial documentation and audit-ready records.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Work closely with management to provide financial insights and operational reports.

Required Skills

- 2–3 years of accounting experience in the US Staffing/IT Staffing industry.
- Solid knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Bank Reconciliation.
- Experience with client invoicing and payroll reconciliation.
- Good understanding of US staffing billing cycles (Time & Material, Contract, C2C, W2, 1099).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
- Experience working with US clients and staffing financial operations.
- Knowledge of US payroll, invoicing, and taxation processes is preferred.
