Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to manage the complete accounting and financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling accounts, taxation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, audits, payroll accounting, budgeting, and ensuring accurate financial records while maintaining compliance with applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage end-to-end financial accounting, reporting, and controllership functions of the organization.
- Maintain the General Ledger (GL), Chart of Accounts (COA), journal entries, and ensure the integrity of financial records.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, and other statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare standalone financial statements, monthly MIS, variance analysis, cash flow statements, and management reports.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), credit control, vendor reconciliations, customer reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, depreciation, and ledger scrutiny.
- Coordinate internal, statutory, tax, and GST audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
- Monitor working capital, cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting,



and financial planning & analysis (FP&A;).
- Process payroll accounting, statutory remittances, employee reimbursements, and related financial reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards (Ind AS/AS), Companies Act, and internal financial controls.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for financial and compliance matters.
- Develop and implement financial controls, SOPs, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks.

Qualifications
- B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter (preferred).
- 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and ERP software.
- FMCG industry experience will be preferred.
