Role Description The Senior Academic Counsellor is a full-time remote role responsible for guiding learners and professionals in making informed educational and career decisions that align with their goals. The role involves conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing academic and career interests, and providing tailored guidance on educational pathways, certifications, and skill development opportunities.

Counsellor will collaborate with internal teams to design counseling frameworks, support learning programs, and contribute to resource materials that address student and professional development needs. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate records, tracking progress,



offering ongoing follow-up support, and ensuring a high standard of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. The role also requires proactive communication through virtual meetings, email, and messaging platforms to deliver consistent academic advising and career counseling support.

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to support individuals in making informed educational decisions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to conduct counseling sessions, provide clear guidance, and build trust with learners and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to help individuals explore career paths, align education with goals, and plan long-term development.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Education, with knowledge of curricula, qualification frameworks, and learning pathways.
- Relevant skills such as empathy, active listening, problem-solving, and relationship-building are highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in academic advising, student services, or career guidance, ideally in a remote or online environment, is an advantage.
