Role Description This is a full-time, in office SEO Specialist & Operations Lead role based in Parrys, Chennai.

The role combines SEO strategy, backend operations, and team management. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating day-to-day SEO activities while supervising and supporting SEO team members. In addition, the role includes overseeing backend operational workflows related to visa processing, travel documentation, application coordination, and quality control.

Key responsibilities include assigning and reviewing SEO tasks, conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, optimizing on-page elements, implementing ethical link-building strategies, and ensuring SEO best practices are executed across websites and digital campaigns.

The candidate will also manage operational teams, monitor workflow efficiency, maintain productivity, ensure timely project delivery, and coordinate with content, design, development, and backend processing teams. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership, and the ability to work in a startup environment with evolving responsibilities.

Candidates should be willing to work night shifts on a rotational basis depending on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise SEO executives and backend operations staff
- Assign, monitor,



and review daily SEO and operational tasks
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits
- Optimize on-page SEO elements including metadata, internal linking, content structure, and technical improvements
- Plan and execute ethical link-building and off-page SEO strategies
- Monitor website performance and prepare SEO performance reports
- Analyze web analytics data and provide actionable recommendations
- Coordinate visa application workflows, documentation processes, and quality control operations
- Ensure timely processing of applications and adherence to internal SOPs
- Improve workflow efficiency and team productivity
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members
- Collaborate with content, design, development, and operations teams
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes, industry trends, and SEO tools
- Support business operations and process improvements in a fast-paced startup environment

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO, including metadata optimization, internal linking, and content structuring
- Experience conducting comprehensive SEO Audits to identify technical, content, and structural issues affecting search performance
- Proficiency in Link Building strategies, outreach, backlink analysis, and ethical off-page optimization practices
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other web analytics tools
- Familiarity with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar SEO platforms
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, and website architecture
- Experience managing backend operations, documentation workflows, or process-oriented teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work night shifts on a rotational basis
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Previous experience in an SEO-focused role, preferably in a digital agency, startup, travel, or service-based organization
