Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and passionate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong experience in automation testing using Java, Selenium,



and Playwright. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing scalable automation frameworks, executing end-to-end testing, and ensuring high product quality across web applications and APIs.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Automation Framework Development
- Design, develop, andmaintainscalable automation frameworks
- Build robust automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Playwright
- Enhance existing frameworks for better maintainability and execution efficiency
- Functional & Regression Testing
- Develop and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
- Validate application functionality across different browsers and environments
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for critical business workflows.
- API & Backend Testing
- Perform API automation and validation testing
- Validate REST APIs and backend services using automation tools/frameworks
- Work closely with development teams toidentifyand resolve defects early in the cycle.
- CI/CD & Agile Practices
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for automated deployments and testing
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups,



and retrospectives
- Defect Tracking & Quality Assurance
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects
- Perform root cause analysis and support issue resolution
- Ensure high-quality deliverables within defined timelines
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Developers, Product Managers, and QA teams
- Participate in requirement analysis and test planning discussions
- Provide regular updates on automation progress and testing status

Required Skills & Experience: Experience:

- 5–10 years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation
- Strong hands-on experience in automation framework development
- Experience working in Agile development environments

Technical Skills:

- Strong programming skills in Java
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Experience with Playwright automation framework
- Strong understanding of automation testing concepts and best practices
- Experience in API testing and automation
- Knowledge of test frameworks such as TestNG / JUnit

Good to Have

- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools is an added advantage.

Education qualifications:

- BE / BTech / MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field
