Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAS Decision Analytics / Intelligence Consultant to join our growing analytics practice at Lericon Informatics Pvt.

- This role is ideal for professionals with 3-6 years of hands-on experience in SAS Viya and SAS Intelligent Decisioning, who can effectively bridge the gap between data science and business operations.

- The consultant will play a key role in designing and deploying end-to-end decisioning solutions across domains such as Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI).

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end decision-making flows using SAS Viya and SAS Intelligent Decisioning.

- Bridge the gap between data science and IT by importing SAS, Python, or open-source models into production decisioning environments.

- Build, test, and manage complex business rule sets and decision flows using GUI-based drag-and-drop tools, ensuring accuracy and reliability before deployment.

- Orchestrate data from multiple sources including databases, REST APIs, and real-time streams to enrich decisioning inputs.

- Implement robust governance workflows covering version control, testing traceability, and real-time performance monitoring of decisions.





- Collaborate closely with business users, IT teams, and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical decision logic.

- Present decisioning logic and outcomes to senior stakeholders in a explicit, business-friendly manner.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in SAS analytics and decisioning environments.

- Strong working knowledge of SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya.

- Practical experience with SAS Intelligent Decisioning, SAS Model Manager, or SAS Decision Builder.

- Proficiency in SAS Programming and / or Python.

- Solid experience with SQL, ETL processes, and database connectivity.

- Ability to work with REST APIs and containerized applications such as Docker or SAS Container Runtime.

- Good communication skills with the ability to present technical logic to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Domain experience in Financial Services or Banking, particularly in credit scoring, fraud detection, or risk decisioning.

- Exposure to machine learning, AI, or reinforcement learning techniques.

- Hands-on experience deploying SAS Viya on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
