Job Summary:

- We are looking for a skilled SAS Fraud Management & Middleware Integration Engineer to join our technology team.
- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAS-based fraud detection systems and middleware / API integration.
- You will be responsible for running fraud detection operations using SAS tools, building and maintaining integrations using KONG API Gateway, and ensuring smooth data flows across platforms.
- Both skill sets carry equal importance in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure, test, and manage fraud detection rules using SAS Fraud Management tools Monitor real-time transactions to identify and prevent suspicious activities Analyze transaction data using SAS and SQL to detect fraud patterns and trends Build reports and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI for business and compliance teams Support AML, KYC, and sanction screening processes and workflows Design and develop REST APIs following event-driven architecture patterns Build and manage integrations using
- KONG API Gateway including routing, plugins, and policies Handle legacy-to-new API migrations and ensure backward compatibility Use IBM MQ, Kafka, or similar messaging tools for real-time data flows Collaborate with architects on middleware design and API standards
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders across fraud, compliance, and technology teams Identify gaps in fraud detection and integration processes and recommend improvements Document systems, APIs,



and fraud rules for team reference Technical Requirements SAS & Fraud Domain
- Hands-on experience with SAS Fraud Management (SFM) rule configuration, testing, real-time monitoring
- Proficiency in SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Studio
- Advanced SQL for data analysis, log investigation, and reporting
- Knowledge of fraud detection strategies, risk assessment, AML, and KYC processes
- Data visualization using Tableau or Power BI Middleware & API Integration
- Strong hands-on experience with KONG API Gateway routing, plugins, policy management
- REST API design and development with event-driven architecture
- Experience in legacy-to-new API migration
- Knowledge of IBM MQ, IBM App Connect Enterprise, or Kafka for messaging
- Understanding of microservices architecture and integration patterns
