About The Role :

We are looking for a Deal Desk Specialist to support our Global SAP Account team.

The role is mainly focused on the daily business in India and the wider APJ region. The person will work closely with local delivery teams, internal stakeholders, partners and external suppliers.

At the same time, the person will regularly work with colleagues and stakeholders from other regions around the world.

The Deal Desk supports staffing and commercial opportunities from the first customer request through candidate selection, proposal preparation, interviews, contracting, onboarding and final deal closure

Key Responsibilities

- Manage staffing and resource requests, mainly within India and APJ
- Understand customer requirements and identify suitable candidates, delivery teams, partners or suppliers
- Coordinate candidate profiles, interviews, feedback and decisions




- Prepare pricing calculations, commercial proposals and margin evaluations
- Support contracts, Statements of Work and onboarding processes
- Manage communication between SAP, internal NTT DATA teams, partners and suppliers
- Follow up on open decisions, timelines and next steps
- Maintain opportunity and staffing information in the relevant systems
- Support the full deal lifecycle from the first request to successful closure
- Work closely with international teams from Sales, Delivery, Finance, Recruitment and Management
- The Global SAP Account operates in an international environment with many different stakeholders and virtual teams

Preferred Background

- The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of professional experience, preferably in one or more of the following areas:
- Talent Acquisition or Recruitment
- IT Staffing or Resource Management
- Vendor or Partner Management
- Deal Desk or Sales Operations
- IT Services or Software Development
- A background in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment is especially valuable because the role includes candidate management, hiring processes, supplier coordination, contracts and onboarding.
- A technical background,



previous experience in software development or a strong personal interest in technology would be an advantage.

Required skills

- Very good written and spoken English
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience working in the Indian or APJ business environment
- Good commercial understanding
- Experience with pricing, margins and commercial proposals
- Understanding of contracts, suppliers and hiring processes
- Very good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- Structured, reliable and independent working style
- Comfortable working remotely in a virtual and international environment.
- Ability to manage several requests and stakeholders at the same time

Additional Advantages

- Experience in the SAP or IT services environment
- Experience working with international customers and global teams
- Knowledge of staffing, procurement or CRM tools
- Technical knowledge or a strong interest in software, cloud services or IT delivery
- Any additional international language, for example French, Spanish, German, Korean, Chinese, Italian or Portuguese
- An additional language is an advantage, but it is not required.
