Role Description The SAP Functional Consultant will work on-site in Chennai in a full-time capacity, supporting the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP modules aligned with business processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing functional solutions, preparing configuration documents, and performing system testing.

The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, provide user support, and ensure smooth integration of SAP FICO and Materials Management functionalities. The role also involves preparing functional specifications, coordinating with technical teams,



delivering user training, and contributing to continuous process improvements. The consultant is expected to maintain detailed documentation and support ongoing enhancements to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of Business Process design and optimization, with the ability to map requirements to SAP functionalities.
- Hands-on experience in SAP FICO, including configuration, testing, and support of financial and controlling processes.
- Knowledge of Materials Management, covering procurement, inventory management, and integration with related SAP modules.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills and Consulting capabilities to diagnose issues, propose solutions, and advise stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications in SAP are an advantage.
- Experience in SAP implementation or support projects, preferably within construction, infrastructure, or equipment rental industries.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in office in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet project deadlines, and adapt to changing business requirements.
