Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

SAP EDI Consultant with strong expertise in

SAP S/4HANA

,

SAP SD

, and

EDI implementations

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring

IDocs, Partner Profiles, Message Types

, and integrating SAP with external systems using standard EDI formats. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting EDI interfaces for Order-to-Cash business processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Onboard recent business partners through EDI within the SAP S/4HANA Sales landscape.

- Configure, maintain, and support EDI interfaces for Order-to-Cash processes, including Orders and Invoices.

- Configure and manage

IDocs, Partner Profiles, Ports, and Message Types

.

- Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), EDI mapping documents, and effort estimations.

- Collaborate with internal and external development teams during EDI implementation projects.

- Perform minor ABAP developments and support EDI mapping requirements where needed.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI transaction issues and IDoc failures.

- Provide Level 3 production support for EDI-related incidents.

- Work closely with business users and functional teams to ensure smooth EDI operations.





- Support integration between SAP and external business partners using industry-standard EDI formats.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in

SAP S/4HANA Sales (SD)

with strong expertise in SAP EDI.

- Hands-on experience in

SAP EDI implementation and support.

- Strong knowledge of:

- SAP IDocs

- Partner Profiles

- Message Types

- Ports

- Experience integrating SAP with external systems using EDI standards such as

EDIFACT or

ANSI X12

.

- Exposure to one or more integration tools:

- SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)

- SAP AIF

- Seeburger

- SAP PI/PO (preferred)

- Basic knowledge of

ABAP debugging

, including User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements, and Routines.

- Experience in preparing functional specifications and coordinating with technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SAP CRM integration.

- Knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.

- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to work independently in a remote and fast-paced project environment.
