Senior Manager - SAP Concur

Job Summary The Senior Manager - SAP Concur is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, support, optimization, and governance of SAP Concur Travel, Expense, Invoice, and Request solutions across the organization. This role works closely with business stakeholders, finance, procurement, travel teams, and IT leadership to ensure efficient expense management, compliance, automation, and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Leadership

- Lead end-to-end SAP Concur implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and global rollouts.
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and ensure timely delivery.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives related to Travel & Expense (T&E;) processes.

Solution Design & Architecture

- Define SAP Concur solution architecture and best practices.
- Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance, Procurement, HR, and Travel teams.

- Intelligent Audit
- Ensure integration with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, HRMS, Payroll, ERP, and third-party travel systems.

- Partner with senior business leaders to align SAP Concur capabilities with business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor for travel and expense management strategy.
- Present project status, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership.

Team Management

- Lead and mentor SAP Concur consultants, analysts, and support teams.
- Define team objectives and career development plans.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships.

Governance & Compliance

- Establish policies and controls for expense management.
- Ensure compliance with corporate, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead audit readiness and risk mitigation efforts.

Process Optimization





- Identify automation opportunities and process improvements.
- Drive adoption of industry best practices.
- Monitor KPIs and system utilization metrics to improve efficiency.

Support & Operations

- Oversee production support and incident management.
- Ensure SLA compliance and service excellence.
- Manage release planning, change management, and regression testing activities.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master's degree (MBA/MS) preferred.

Experience

- 10-15+ years of IT and business application experience.
- 6-10+ years of SAP Concur implementation and support experience.
- Experience leading large-scale global SAP Concur deployments.
- Experience managing distributed teams and external vendors.
