Role Description

- We are hiring an SAP CAPM Developer with 1–3 years of experience in SAP BTP application development, SAP CAPM, Node.js, CDS, OData services, and cloud application development.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building backend services using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model , working with CDS models , developing OData APIs , and deploying applications on SAP BTP .
- This role is suitable for someone who wants to grow as an SAP BTP full-stack/backend developer and work on real enterprise-grade SAP cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using SAP CAPM and Node.js.
- Build backend services using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model.
- Create and manage CDS data models, services, entities, and associations.
- Develop and expose OData services and REST APIs.
- Work on SAP BTP services for cloud-native application development.
- Develop business logic using Node.js, JavaScript, and CAP event handlers.
- Integrate CAPM applications with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Integration Suite, and third-party systems.
- Work with SAP Business Application Studio for development and deployment.
- Support application deployment on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry environment.




- Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Work with destination services, connectivity services, XSUAA, and authentication concepts.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, integration developers, architects, and business users.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Prepare technical documentation, API documentation, and deployment notes.
- Stay updated with SAP BTP, CAPM, Node.js, and cloud application development best practices.

Qualifications

- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in SAP CAPM, SAP BTP, Node.js, or cloud application development.
- Good understanding of SAP Cloud Application Programming Model.
- Experience working with CDS, OData services, entities, projections, annotations, and service definitions.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript.
- Basic knowledge of SAP BTP Cloud Foundry environment.
- Experience using SAP Business Application Studio.
- Understanding of REST APIs, OData, JSON, and enterprise integration concepts.
- Basic knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration will be preferred.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, XSUAA, roles, and destinations on SAP BTP is a plus.
- Good debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Experience

- Experience developing CAPM applications on SAP BTP.
- Experience integrating CAPM applications with SAP S/4HANA or other SAP systems.
- Experience working with SAP Integration Suite, SAP API Management, or SAP Cloud Integration is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud, HDI containers, or database modeling is preferred.
- Experience with Fiori/UI5 or full-stack SAP BTP development will be an added advantage.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Postman, or API testing tools.
- Basic understanding of security, roles, scopes, authentication, and authorization in SAP BTP.
- Experience working on client-facing SAP projects or enterprise application development projects.
