As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications, while analyzing, designing, coding, and testing application code across multiple clients. The role requires working with contemporary frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient solutions that meet unique business requirements. Collaboration with team members to perform maintenance and enhancements is essential, ensuring applications meet evolving user needs while adhering to software development best practices.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adapting to evolving project needs are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering innovation and continuous improvement in software development processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and be/become an SME.




- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform; responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems, for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain and enhance existing software components to improve performance and reliability.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to support their professional growth; facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Cloud.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP HANA.
- Strong experience in developing and customizing applications using the SAP ABAP Cloud environment.
- Robust understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with debugging and performance tuning of ABAP applications.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies, best practices, and the software development life cycle.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Good understanding of integration techniques and working with APIs within SAP landscapes.
- Experience in optimizing code for performance and scalability.
- The candidate should have a minimum of 35 years of experience in SAP ABAP Cloud
