Engineer – Service with strong expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning (FSL) to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and Salesforce Field Service, along with a strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development practices.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Salesforce solutions with a strong emphasis on scalability, performance, maintainability, and code quality.

Develop advanced Apex components, including triggers, classes, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex, and Batch Apex, supporting Work Orders, Service Appointments, Assets, and other FSL objects.

Build enterprise-grade Lightning Web Components (LWC) for dispatcher consoles, technician mobile applications, and service timeline experiences.

Design and implement integrations with CTI, IVR platforms, scheduling engines, ERP, inventory management systems, and other enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP services, Platform Events, and Bulk APIs.

Configure and customize Salesforce Field Service (FSL), including Service Resources, Service Territories, Skills, Work Types, Shifts, Maintenance Plans, and Scheduling Policies.

Develop custom scheduling and optimization capabilities using Salesforce FSL APIs, including travel optimization, resource capacity planning, and workload balancing.

Configure and extend Omni-Channel routing, presence management, assignment rules, and intelligent work distribution using Apex and LWC.





Diagnose and resolve complex issues involving scheduling, dispatcher operations, technician mobile synchronization, routing, and multi-system integrations.

Optimize Apex, SOQL, SOSL, asynchronous processing, and platform performance to support high-volume Work Orders, Cases, and Service Appointments.

Build reusable development frameworks, utility classes, Lightning components, helper libraries, and automated test data factories.

Deliver comprehensive unit and integration testing while supporting automated CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.

Leverage Salesforce Agentforce, Salesforce Copilot, and AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity, accelerate delivery, and enhance code quality.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), data models, sequence diagrams, API specifications, and integration documentation.

Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, QA engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the Agile development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) Certification is required.

Experience 7–9 years of experience in Salesforce application development with significant experience in Service Cloud and Salesforce Field Service (FSL).





Required Skills & Competencies Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce (where applicable), SOQL, and SOSL.

Experience designing, developing, and managing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Bulk APIs.

Solid knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Field Service architecture, capabilities, and platform best practices.

Experience building scalable data models, security models, sharing rules, permission sets, and enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions.

Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Copado, Jenkins, Git, and Salesforce deployment automation.

Experience integrating Salesforce with middleware and external enterprise applications.

Familiarity with Salesforce Agentforce, Salesforce Copilot, prompt engineering, AI-assisted development, and intelligent coding accelerators.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and effectively handle production escalations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and clearly communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs.

Preferred Qualifications Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript, including advanced concepts beyond standard Lightning Web Components.

Experience with enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations involving high transaction volumes.

Exposure to enterprise integration platforms and distributed application architectures.

Salesforce certifications related to Service Cloud, Field Service, or Application Architecture are an added advantage.
